In addition to teaching lessons and classes through Husky house Music, Stephen Johnson is an elementary music teacher in Eugene, Oregon. His educational passions include student created music and the incorporation of popular music into the classroom. He has taught elementary, middle school, and high school students in general music, choir, band, orchestra, marching band, jazz band, modern band, mariachi, drum line, and guitar. He has also taught elementary adult students private lesson format for over 11 years.

Stephen earned a BA in music from California State University, Northridge, a Masters of Music from University of Florida, and Level 1-3 Kodály Certification from the Kodály Institute at California State University, Bakersfield. Stephen is also a Music Will teacher.

Stephen's musical background includes playing saxophone in school band and jazz band, bass in orchestra, jazz band, and drum line, as well as playing bass, guitar, and providing vocals in various rock groups. He has also recorded, mixed, and mastered music for various groups.
