Materials
$10 - $30 per term. Covers the cost of materials for the term and is based on goals and needs of the students. Examples includes books, sheet music, subscriptions, etc.
Class and Camp Rates
Class and Camp rates vary and are listed in the class and camp descriptions. There is generally and early registration discount as well as a discount for siblings.

Trial Lessons
New students may book and pay for an initial lesson individually to try lessons before committing to a full term.
Starting Mid-Term
You don't have to wait for a new term to begin lessons! New students are welcome to join at any point during the term, subject to availability. Tuition will be determined based on the number of scheduled lessons remaining in the term, plus the applicable materials fee.
Term Tuition & Materials
Lessons are scheduled and paid for by the term. Tuition is calculated by multiplying the lesson rate by the number of scheduled lessons in the term, then adding a materials fee of $10–$30 per term, depending on the books and supplies needed. Fall, Winter, and Spring Terms are a set number of weeks (adjusted based on individual schedules) and Summer term is determined by individual schedules to accommodate travel, camps, etc.
Example: A 10-week term of 60-minute lessons at $60 per lesson, with a $20 materials fee, costs $620.
Payment Options
Families can choose one of two payment options:
Pay in full: Receive a 5% discount on the total term cost, including materials.
Monthly payments: Split the full term cost into equal monthly payments over the length of the term, without a discount.
Example: For a term totaling $620, the discounted single payment is $589. Alternatively, a three-month term can be paid in three monthly installments of $206.67.
Payments are due at the first lesson of each month. The payment schedule will be communicated at the beginning of each term.
Scheduling & Makeup Lessons
The number and dates of lessons are established at the beginning of each term. Whenever possible, known scheduling conflicts should be communicated in advance so they can be accommodated when the schedule is created.
One makeup lesson per term is guaranteed for an unexpected student absence, such as illness. Please notify Husky House Music before the scheduled lesson whenever possible.
Additional makeup lessons may be offered on a case-by-case basis, depending on availability. Makeup lessons must be scheduled by mutual agreement and completed before the end of the term. Unused makeup lessons do not carry over to the next term.
If Husky House Music needs to cancel a lesson, that lesson will be rescheduled or credited toward tuition.
Class or camp sessions missed cannot be made up or refunded.
